Checking out Corpus Christi Beach

Our beach house was located right next to Corpus Christi's beach. It was both good and bad. The good part was obviously we were so close to the beach and went out walking/playing every morning and evening. Plus we had the convenience of being near the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium, both of which we went to.

The bad news was that the beach was covered with jellyfish! Some mornings and evenings, we just had to stay in the sand far from the water because of all the jellyfish that were washed ashore or were in the shallow water.

Another good thing about it was that Oscar, whom we brought with us as usual, loved taking walks along the beach (of course he also had to skip around the litter of jellyfish on shore as well). He loved the ocean and spent most of his time barking at the waves and occasionally trying to bite them only to get salt water in his mouth.

Another bad thing about the beach though was that it also lacked public restrooms and was often crowded by people who littered (again, the littering and crowds might have had to do with a large portion of vacationers here for the 4th of July weekend), the public bathrooms... no so much.

Anyway, it worked itself out to have several advantages and disadvantages, Brian's biggest concern probably wasn't the location itself (although that did come up a few times) as much as the beach houses condition itself (no internet). However, I will leave you to determine for yourself.
